Cuisinart DCC-1200 – Best Seller Coffee Maker

Hello and welcome to this Cuisinart DCC-1200. Over the course of this relatively short review I would like to try and deliver a balanced and unbiased report on this machine. After reading this review I would like for the reader to be able to make an informed and confident decision about this coffee brewer.

The coffee that this thing produces is always as hot as you like. I know there are quite a few coffee makers in the same price range as this machine that don’t quite cut it when it comes to the temperature of the coffee, this machine however does a brilliant job when it comes to that area.

We get a very nice beep when our brew cycle has finished. I know that this particular feature has come under fire from a lot of naysayers on the web, so I would quickly like to address those comments here. We have 2 choices when it comes to the noise level on the beep, we can either have it loud enough to be heard when we are in a different room to the coffee maker and just a little bit too loud perhaps when w are stood right next to it. The other option is to have the noise just perfect when we are stood right next to it and too quiet when we are in the next room which makes us continuously have to keep coming back to check see if our coffee is ready or not yet.

The Cuisinart DCC-1200 comes with a 3 year warranty which means Cuisinart really believes that this machine will last you a good long time. It always makes me worry when I look at a machine with just the one year warranties, I have had more than one coffee maker in the past that has died on me literally weeks after the warranty has run out. A littlie annoying to say the least.
